Livejournal

Early 2000s: Gather ‘round, my children, and I will tell you a tale of the time everyone had a Livejournal. We followed our friends, we updated about nothing, we changed our layouts to match our personality of the moment. In addition to my own journal, I maintained community journals for Kill Rock Stars, Tairrie B, and Oobi.

I Hurt Myself

Early 2000s: I Hurt Myself was a self-harm resource page that I created in a time when information, resources, and awareness were not nearly as accessible online as they are now.

Fuck-That

2002-2009: Fuck-that was a place to say “fuck that” about every major and minor annoyance of the day. Multiple people had access to update the journal, so not all entries are from me, but I’m still sure I would cringe into oblivion at many of the things written.

Cheekin

2004-2007: Cheekin was just a wildly strange corner of the internet where several friends and I posted our latest nonsense. Layouts were designed to reflect the lunacy.
